Résoudre des équations simples faisant intervenir des fonctions exponentielles ou logarithmiques. La calculatrice est autorisée, en revanche seule la touche \(\log\) (en base 10 donc) peut être utilisée pour calculer des logarithmes.$$3\cdot 15^{x}-1 = 867$$
On peut déjà isoler \(15^{x}\) : $$\begin{array}{rcl|l}3\cdot 15^{x}-1 & = & 867& +1\\3\cdot 15^{x} & = & 868& :(3)\\15^{x} & = & \dfrac{868}{3}& \end{array}$$En appliquant le logarithme en base 10 sur l'équation, on obtient : $$\begin{array}{rcl|l} 15^{x} & = & \dfrac{868}{3}& \log (...)\\ \log\left(15^{x}\right) & = & \log\left(\dfrac{868}{3}\right)& \log (b^a)=a\cdot\log(b)\\ x\cdot \log(15) & = & \log\left(\dfrac{868}{3}\right)& : \log(15)\\ x & = & \dfrac{\log\left(868/3\right)}{\log\left(15\right)}& \text{Calculatrice}\\ x & \cong & 2.09 & \end{array}$$
