Utiliser une notation correcte mathématiquement et rigoureuse. Indiquer si la notation est suivante, la corriger dans le cas contraire.$$ \lim_{x\to \infty} \dfrac{8x}{x-8} = \dfrac{\infty}{\infty} = \lim_{x\to \infty} = \dfrac{8}{1-\frac{8}{x}} = 8 $$
Inorrecte. En effet, \(\dfrac{\infty}{\infty}\) ne veut rien dire ! Manière correcte d'écrire : $$ \lim_{x\to \infty} \dfrac{8x}{x-8} = \lim_{x\to \infty} = \dfrac{8}{1-\frac{8}{x}} = 8 $$ ou éventuellement : $$ \lim_{x\to \infty} \dfrac{8x}{x-8} = \lim_{x\to \infty} = \dfrac{8x}{x} = 8 $$
